3. As a face is reflected in water, so the heart reflects a person.

4. Dont ignore your interest. Consider how they might be used for Gods glory. There is a reason that you love to do these things.

6. How do you know when you are serving God from your heart? The first telltale sign is enthusiasm.

Humility grows when we refuse to be prideful and endurance develops every time you reject the temptation to give up.

2. Does not God want me to be happy? The bible warns, "Watch out! Dont let evil thoughts or doubts make any of you turn from the living God."
3. Temptation is a sign that Satan hates you, not a sign of weakness or worldiness.

4. Attraction is not lust until you begin to dwell on it.

3. Talk to God before talking to the person. Discuss the problem with God. Often you will discover that either God changes your heart or he changes the other person without your help. All your relationships would go smoother if you would just pray more about them.

5. Instead of looking to God, we look to others to make us happy and then get angry when they fail us. God says "Why dont you come to me first?"

8. If you are serious about restoring a relationship, you should begin with admitting your own mistakes or sin.

3. We only grow by taking risk, and the most difficult risk of all is to be honest with ourselves and with others.

4. Never hold grudges, because bitterness and resentment always destroy fellowship. Because we are imperfect, sinful people, we inevitably hurt each other when were together for a long time. Sometimes we hurt each other intentionally and sometimes unintentionally, but either way, it takes massive amounts of mercy and grace to create and maintain fellowship.

5. Remember, you will never be asked to forgive someone else more than God has already forgiven you. Whenever you are hurt by someone, you have a choice to make: Will i use my energy and emotions for retaliation or for resolution? You cant do both.

6. Forgiveness is letting go of the past. Trust has to do with future behavior.

7. Forgiveness must be immediate, whether or not a person asks for it. Trust must be rebuild over time. If someone hurts you repeatedly,you are commanded by Him to forgive instantly, but you are not expected to trust them immediately, and you are not expected to continue allowing them to hurt you. They must prove they change over a period of time...

1. You are called to belong, not just believe.

2. Worship helps you focus on God, fellowship helps you face life's problems, discipleship helps fortify your faith, ministry helps find your talents, evangelism helps fulfill your mission.

Day 14: When God seems distant

1. The deepest level of worship is praising God inspite of pain, thanking God during a trial, trusting him when tempted, surrendering while suffering, and loving him when he seems distant.

3. God sometimes hides his face from us. There are times He is missing in action in our lives.

2. Where you worship is not as important as why you worship and how much of yourself you offer to God when you worship.

5. The best style of worship is the one that most authentically represents your love of God, based on the background and personality He gave you.

6. God is pleased when our worship is thoughtful.

7. God is pleased when our worship is practical.

8. When you offer a sacrifice of worship to God, he will be pleased.

Day 12: Developing your friendship with God

1. The first building block of friendship with God is honesty.

2. Everytime you trust the wisdom of God and do whatever he says, even when you dont understand it, you deepen your friendship with God.

3. We obey God, not out of duty or fear or compulsion, bur because we love him and trust that he knows what is best for us.

4. Pain is the fuel of passion - it energizes us with an intensity to change that we dont normally possess.

5. "When you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, ill make sure you wont be disappointed."

Day 11: Becoming Bestfriends with God

1. God wants to be your bestfriend.

2. God deeply desires that we know him intimately.

3. One must establish constant communication with God. Praying without ceasing.

4. Friends share secrets and God will share his secrets with you if you develop the habit of thinking about His word throughout the day.

Day 10: The Heart of worship

1. The heart of worship is surrender.

2. True worship - bringing God's pleasure - happens when you give yourself completely to God.

3. Trust is an essential ingredient to surrender.

4. You wont surrender to God unless you trust Him, but you cant trust Him until you know him better.

5. How do you know God loves you? He gives you many evidences:
God says He loves you, youre never out of sight
He cares about every detail of your life

He has good plans for your life
He forgives you

6. Surrendered people obey God's word even if it does not make sense

7. You know you surrendered to God when you rely on God to work thingd out instead of trying to manipulate others, force agenda and control the situation. You let go and let God work. You dont always have to be in charge.

8. Instead of trying harder, you trust more

9. When you fully surrender, first you experience peace, next is freedom, third you experience God's power in your life.

10. You cannot fulfill God's purpose for your life while focusing on your own plans.

11. Put Jesus Christ in the driver's seat of your life and take your hands off the steering wheel.

12. When you decide to live totally surrendered life, that decision will be tested.

Day 9: What makes God smile?

1. The smile of God is the goal of your life.

2. God smiles when we love him supremely.

3. I dont want your sacrifices - I want your love, I dont want your offerings - I want you to know me.

4. He longs for you to know him and spends time with him.

5. Learning to love God and be loved by Him should be the greatest objective of your life.

6. God smiles when we trust Him completely.

7. Trusting God completely means having faith that He knows what is best for your life.

8. Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Day 8: Planned for God's pleasure

1. The Lord takes pleasure in his people.

2. You were planned for God's pleasure.

Day 6: Life is a temporary assignment

1. Earth is only a temporary residence. You wont be here long, so dont get too attached. Ask God to help you see life on earth as he sees it.

2. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we cant see now will last forever.

3. Were not completely happy here because were not supposed to be. Earth is not our final home, we are created for something better.

4. All that is not eternal is eternally useless.

5. Never focus on temporary crowns.

Day 4: Made to last forever

1. Thy will be done.

2. The closer you live to God, the smaller everything else appears.

3. You place a higher premium on relationships and character instead of fame or wealth or achievements or even fun. I once thought all these things were so very important, but now I consider them worthless because of what Chris has done.

4. You may feel its morbid to think about death but actually its unhealthy to live in denial of death and not consider what is inevitable. Only a fool would go through life unprepared for what we all know will eventually happen.

5. If you have a relationship with God through Jesus, you dont need to fear death.

Your death is your birthday in eternity.. the first day of the rest of your life.. dont be afraid to die for He offers more than what you have here on earth.. smile and be glad!

Day 3: What drives your life

1. We are products of our past, but we dont have to be prisoners of it.

2. God's purpoes is not limited by your past... God specializes in giving people a fresh start.

3. What happiness for those whose guilt has been forgiven! What a relief for those who have confessed their sins and God has cleared their record.

4. Those who have hurt you in the past cannot continue to hurt you now unless you hold on to the pain through resentment. Your past is past! Nothing will change it. You are only hurting yourself with your bitterness. For you own sake, learn from it and then let go.

5. To worry yourself to death with resentment would be a foolish, senseless thing to do.

6. Fear is a self-imprisoned prison that will keep you from becoming what God intends for you to be.

7. Material possession only provide temporary happiness.

8. Real security can only be found in that which can never be taken from you - your relationship with God.

9. Those who follow the crowd usually get lost in it.

10. One key failure to success is by trying to please everyone. Being controlled by the opinion of others is a guarranteed way to miss God's purpose for your life.

11. Without a purpose, life is a motion without meaning, activity without direction and events without reason.

12. Without God life has no purpose and without purpose life has no meaning.

13. The greatest tragedy is not death, but life without purpose.

14. Without a clear purpose you have no foundation on which you base decision, allocate your time, and use your resources. You will tend to make choices based on circumstances, pressures and your mood at that moment. People who dont know their purpose try to do too much - and that causes stress, fatigue, and conflict.

15. You just have enough time to do God's will. If you cant get it all dont, it means youre trying to do more than God intended for you to do.

16. Without a clear purpose, you will keep changing directions, jobs, relationships, churches or other externals - hoping each change will settle the confusion or fill the emptiness in your heart but it does not solve the problem - a lack of purpose and purpose.

17. Dont live carelessly, unthinkingly. Make sure you understand what the Master wants.

18. I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead.

19. If you want your life to have an impact, focus it! Stop dabbling. Stop trying to do it all. Do less. Never confuse activity with productivity. You can be busy with purpose but whats the point? lets keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us.

20. Purpose always produces passion. Nothing energizes like a clear purpose.

21. You were not put on earth to be remembered. You were put here to prepare for eternity.

There had been a make or break decision in my life before and looking now i think it did not work out well... and i cant take back everything from the day i made that decision..

I once look back and i saw that everything is in place except me.. i was stuck in no where..

Now i realize to obtain the balance i should not look back.. I should let go of all the things I know can affect me right now.. Accept the things the way it should be..

I have too many hang ups in life and as long as i entertain it.. I will only entertain negative things and suffer like this... It will be hard to walk like this forever...
