1. This self absorbed perspective treats God as a genie who simply exist to serve you in your selfish pursuit of personal fulfillment.
2. God is not your servant, and if you fall for the idea that life is supposed to be easy, either you will become severely disillusioned or you will live in denial of reality.
3. Never forget that life is not about you.
4. God gives us our time on earth to build and strengthen our charater for heaven.
5. Only the holy spirit has the power to make the changes God wants to make in our lives.
6. God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him.
7. God waits for you to act first. Dont wait to feel powerful or confident.
Move ahead in your weakness, doing the right thing in spite of your fears and feelings.
8. Everything connected with that old way of life has to go. Its rotten through and through. Get rid of it.
9. Let the spirit change your way of thinking.
10. We are changed from the inside out, we become more beautiful, and we are set free to soar to new heights.
11. Learn to trust God in difficult circumstances.
12. What God cares about most is that whatever you do, you do it in Christlike manner.
13. God is far more interested in what you are than in what you do.
