I am a highly functioning sociopath

The 10 signs of a sociopath.

by High Functioning Sociopath on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at 9:15am ·
  1. Sociopaths are charming. Sociopaths have high charisma and tend to attract a following just because people want to be around them. They have a "glow" about them that attracts people who typically seek guidance or direction. They often appear to be sexy or have a strong sexual attraction. Not all sexy people are sociopaths, obviously, but watch out for over-the-top sexual appetites and fetishes.
  2. Sociopaths are more spontaneous and intense than other people. They tend to do bizarre, sometimes erratic things that most regular people wouldn't do. They are unbound by normal social contracts. Their behavior often seems irrational or extremely risky. Generally they cannot be read by most people due to their ever changing behaviour.
  3. Sociopaths are incapable of feeling shame, guilt or remorse. Their brains simply lack the circuitry to process such emotions. This allows them to betray people, threaten people or harm people without giving it a second thought. They pursue any action that serves their own self interest even if it seriously harms others.
  4. Sociopaths seek to dominate others and "win" at all costs. They hate to lose any argument or fight and will viciously defend their honour, even to the point of logical absurdity.
  5. Sociopaths tend to be highly intelligent, but they use their brainpower to deceive others rather than empower them. Their high IQ's often make them dangerous. This is why many of the best-known serial killers who successfully evaded law enforcement were sociopaths.
  6. Sociopaths speak poetically. They are master wordsmiths, able to deliver a running "stream of consciousness" monologue that is both intriguing and hypnotic. They are expert storytellers and even poets.
  7. Sociopaths never apologize. They often feel they are never wrong. They never feel guilt. They can rarely apologize. Even if shown proof that they were wrong, they will be reluctant to apologize and instead go on the attack.
  8. Sociopaths can regress their state of mind rapidly. They often start off with small risks and erratic bahaviour which often leads to stronger and more heinous acts and even violence. If you anger or irritate a sociopath it can be very dangerous.
  9. Sociopaths are secretive. They do not like their personal information to be commonly known or people asking them questions. They will often lie or deflect questions as to avoid giving away personal details.
  10. Sociopaths are highly perceptive. They can notice the smallest thing or change in anything and remember most things they see and encounter.

Qoute #93

If you stopped worrying about tomorrow, wouldn't that give you more time to actually enjoy and savor today?

Trust your crazy ideas..

Your imagination is the preview to life's coming attractions.

if you have something to say to a loved one, don't wait until tomorrow. Too late comes sooner than later.

How will you change the world?

The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money or the most awards. They are the ones who care.

Live your life so that your children can tell their children that you not only stood for something wonderful- you acted on it.

Qoute #92

There has never been another you.
You are once-in-all-history event.
You are new nature.
You are one of a kind, no one can really predict the heights you may soar.
Even you will not know until you spread your wings.
You may not be able to see your undeveloped potential, but its there - and its enormous.

Qoute #91

The tragedy of life does not lie in not reaching your goals, the tragedy lies in not having a goal to reach.

It isn't a calamity to die with dreams unfulfilled, but it is a calamity not to dream.

It is not a disaster to be unable to capture your ideals, but it is a disaster to have no ideals to capture.

It is not a disgrace not to reach the stars, but it is a disgrace to have no stars to reach.

Notes #2

11. Seeing - that is, the perceiving with the eyes - is easy. Observation - absorbing into your brain the data provided by your eyes- is much more taxing.

12. The world is full of obvious things which nobody by any chance ever observes.

13. The more you practice the skill, the more natural it will become. Just as important as developing your visual observation skills is improving your listening abilities.

Notes #1

1. Benedict Cumberbatch as a Holmes who oscillates between brooding moodiness one moment and manic energy the next. Is the epitome of geek sexiness.

2. Holmes fantastic feats of intellect of identikit celebrities, multi layered psychology have never seemed more fascinating.

3. You know a conjurer gets no credit when once he has explained his trick and if i showed you too much of my method of working, you will come to a conclusion that i am a very ordinary people after all. And even if he had shared, he had little faith in the ability of others to truly understand his methods.

4. A man should keep his little brain attic stocked with all the furniture that he is likely to use, and the rest he can put away in the lumber room of his library, where he can get it if he wants it.

5. A brain without a heart, as deficient in human sympathy as he was pre eminent in intelligence.

6. Holmes nestled somewhere uncomfortably. The ordinary, everyday world bored him, which could make him seem distant, disinterested and even callous. This was an unfortunate side effect of his on going quest for excitement, for the unusual, for the sort of problem that could only be solved by his particular type of mind...

7. It was work that imperilled his life but which fulfilled a deep seated need within him for intellectual challenge and heart stopping adrenalin rushes.
Being Holmes was no easy option, and to follow in his intellectual footsteps is not a journey for a fainted heart.

8. Like all great artist he lived for his arts sake.

9. How often is imagination the mother of truth.

10. the brain is incredibly durable and can grow and change to cope with any number of new demand made upon it.
